Music is awesome!

Favorite bands, musicians, composers whatever! I am looking to expand my horizons since I only listen to like 5 bands. I have heard about all the big bands, just looking for anyone that is "under the radar". If y'all catch my drift.

My favorite 5 bands are blink 182, Death From Above 1979, The Strokes, Datsik, and Excision.

Imma just read down my list of good artists:

All time low, The All-American Rejects, Black Eyed Peas, Boys Like Girls, Cobra Starship, Fall Out Boy, Far East Movement, Flo Ride, The Fray, Good Charlotte, Green Day, Hey Monday, Jay Sean, Lifehouse, Linkin Park, Maroon 5, Mayday Parade, My Chemical Romance, Nelly, Panic! At The Disco, Paramore, Plain White T's, Simple Plan, Taylor Swift, Usher, 30 Seconds To Mars.

Those are all my ok-good artists. Among those my favorite 5 would be Boys Like Girls, Hey Monday, Maroon 5, My Chemical Romance, and Mayday Parade (for kinda nicer loving songs) or Paramore (for more rocker songs)

But you see, you don't have that one band that pretty much pertains to only you. You know? Like very few people have ever heard of the band called Ima Robot. Or Death From Above 1979. Definitely people should look up those bands, they deserve much more recognition than they have.

sum 41 - still waiting
sum 41 - were all to blame
sum 41 - no reason
yellowcard - ocean avenue

thts all the ones im learning for now but i love all types of music but country lol i never got a ear for it but i listen to rap hip hop rock heavy rock and all tht good stuff but something i really love is a good strong bass or an awesome fast double bass(rocker stuff)

eh im not to big on grind core and just plan out screaming u cant understand.... i like some hard core bands like sonic syndicate and all that remains and also techno hardcore like sky eats airplane and enter shikari

I Have way too many favorite bands but just to name a few; Skillet, Three days grace, Chevelle, Breaking benjamin, Five finger death punch, killswitch engage, incubus. To name a few but im always at rocks show too cuz my friends are in a band called phoenix rising from youngstown. if ur interested look em up on myspace or facebook

yeah man! you guys should definitely look up Death From Above 1979. Its like punk but with a little bit more melody, idk. They're definitely one of my favoritest bands of all time

Lol I love music too, I play the piano all the time so I"m a real stickler when it comes to "Real Music" I'm mostly a Power Metal/Folk Metal, some of my favorite bands are Falconer, Avantasia, Stratovarius, Primal Fear, Amorphis, and for classics sake: Helloween.

I don't have anything against "Suck Punky Music" or anything... <cough-zephyr-cough> I love every kind of music except for the "Ghetto cuss-filled rap"... I can't understand how anyone could say that's music...

Btw only Helloween is "80's Power Metal", the rest of the bands mentioned are either Prog Metal or "Modern" Power Metal; or Viking Metal . Only Helloween and Stratovarius have songs from the 80's.

When people get the wrong idea about my music I feel the need to correct them...
